CIMB Bank Berhad is seeking a Private Wealth Relationship Manager for the Preferred HQ in Malaysia. You will advise high-net-worth clients, manage portfolios, and promote CIMB wealth and banking solutions with a focus on growth in AUM and customer base.
The role emphasizes investment advisory, exclusive services, and compliant, high-standard client interaction. Strong closing skills and networking for private wealth growth are essential.
Acts as a dedicated advisor to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), managing portfolios, offering tailored financial solutions, and nurturing long-term client relationships. This role requires focus on wealth growth, investment advisory, and providing exclusive banking services, while ensuring portfolio growth in terms of AUM and number of customers over a long-term basis.
To promote the Bank's investment & deposit products and services to Private Wealth customers
To actively acquire New-to-Private Wealth (NTPW) customers.
To provide fast and convenient off-site banking services to NTPW customers on :
New CASA & FD accounts opening
Handle all non-cash transactions
To complement branch on acquisition numbers.
To run Private Wealth activities to increase membership and deposit sales.
To be involved in Private Wealth customer acquisition programmes / events.
To lead and/or take part in all marketing activities.
To deliver sales pitch / presentations, with strong closing skills on Bank's products and services:
Comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits.
Knowledge of products and services offered by competitors in priority banking
Thorough familiarity and comply with Compliance process
To actively retain & nurture existing Private Wealth base.
To establish and maintain relationship with Private Wealth customers and respond to queries and complaints in a timely manner.
To be able to deal with and manage High Net Worth individuals and sign them up as CIMB Private Wealth customers.
To provide advisory-based sales to Private Wealth customers.
To encourage and promote teamwork by:
Providing assistance (e.g. training, knowledge sharing, covering of duties )
Identifying and sharing new ideas and approaches for increasing sales and maximising customer experiences.
Maintaining a conducive and professional working relationship within the sales team.
To project professional business image at all times through high standards of housekeeping and personal grooming.
To participate in Continuous Professional Development Program
To comply strictly to CIMB Bank's policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance and BNM guidelines.
To comply with Code of Sales Ethics and Governance
To undertake special assignments ad-hoc functions as when required.
