Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Malaysia (Penang/Batu Kawan) is seeking a Product Engineer to own the form, fit and function of HP Print-heads and to resolve product/manufacturing issues. You will implement a comprehensive Product Quality System across the value chain and drive Product Qualification and Change Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Material Engineering.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume electronics product manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and organization skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
• Good understanding of Quality Assurance & Process Control Knowledge.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Own the form, fit and function of HP Print-heads and provide engineering resolutions to product/manufacturing issues.
• Implement a strong Product Quality System across the value chain, driving Product Qualification/ChangeManagement processes.
• Engage R&D and Product Development to enable New Product Introductions and Extensions.
• Identify risks early in the program and determine test methods to characterize the product to meet end-customer needs.
• Drive Product Qualification processes and a strong Product Quality System.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Supply Chain, TechSupport and Production to improve Manufacturing Line Productivity, Yield and Quality.
• Conceptualize, Develop and Deliver solutions to simplify processes and deliver cost reduction.
