Job summary

Team Printers Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain QC procedures for all stages of printing products. You will set sampling plans, analyze results, and drive improvements with production teams to ensure consistent quality.

The role also involves investigating quality issues, preparing 8D reports, and implementing CAPA to prevent recurrence. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, 2–3 years’ experience, and knowledge of QMS/EMS/HACCP/GMP;

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of working experience.
• Knowledge of QMS/EMS/HACCP/GMP related QC controls.
• Printing industries experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QC procedures for incoming, in-process, and outgoing products to meet customer and industry standards.
• Set sampling and testing plans, analyze results, and improve quality.
• Work with production and QC teams to solve quality issues, ensure consistent inspections, and maintain high standards.
• Investigate product and customer quality issues, prepare 8D reports, and implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor quality using inspection tools and support WI review and QC training.
• Set inspection standards and checkpoints to ensure consistent print quality, including color, alignment, and accuracy, in line with product requirements.
• Assist QA team on ISO 9001 compliance, internal and external audit.
• Improve quality, reduce defects, and apply lean principles.
• Supervise post-printing processes to ensure defect-free products.
