Job summary

Global Process Systems is seeking a senior lead for offshore oil & gas projects based in Malaysia. You will lead discipline teams, coordinate engineering deliverables, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and client requirements within budget and schedule.

The role requires extensive experience in offshore O&G, strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills, and a track record of delivering complex EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 17 years in Offshore Oil & Gas, with 7+ years in Lead/Supervisor/Reviewer.
• Desirable exposure to construction, fabrication, installation in Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and manage discipline teams to ensure safe, effective and successful project delivery within budget and schedule.
• Maintain high quality and produce documentation aligned with company quality standards and client requirements.
• Take responsibility for engineering deliverables (Calculations, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Schedules).
• Manage resources, costs and deadlines via developed schedules; escalate issues affecting quality, deadlines or costs.

Job description

• To lead, coordinate and manage discipline teams ensuring safe, effective and successful implementation and delivery of engineering projects within budget and schedule requirements.
• Maintain high quality for all aspects of work and produce documentation in line with quality standards of the company and meeting Client contractual requirements.
• Takes full responsibility for engineering deliverables such as Calculations, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Schedules etc.
• Manage through developed schedules all resources, costs and deadlines to ensure project objectives are met. Bring to the attention of the necessary parties, any problems, assistance or matters that may affect quality, deadlines or costs.
• Proactive communication between groups and actively interface with Clients and external agencies as required
• To assist in the mentoring, coaching and training of group employees in work processes and values.
• Minimum 17 years in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry with at least 7 years in Lead /Supervisor / Reviewer level.
• Supervisory, communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Desirable to have exposure to construction, fabrication, Installation in Oil & Gas EPC projects
