Job summary

Emerson Automation Malaysia is seeking a proactive project coordinator to support daily project activities with engineers and project managers in Bayan Lepas. You will execute tasks, maintain documentation, and coordinate logistics.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Technology, or related field, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong organization and teamwork. Familiarity with Agile, Oracle, and ECO/MCO processes is a plus.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work closely with engineers and project managers to support daily project activities.
• Execute tasks assigned by the project manager in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate logistics activities, including internal support requests, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs).
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component inventory records.
• Submit Purchase Requisitions (PRs), track Purchase Orders (POs), and support project coordination activities.
• Coordinate manufacturing prototype builds and product qualification requests.
• Create and maintain new component part numbers; experience with electronic component attributes is an advantage.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including PCB Design, Test Engineering, Compliance, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders as required by project needs.
• Foster strong teamwork and maintain effective communication across R&D and manufacturing organizations.

• Familiarity with electronic components, BOM management, and engineering change processes (ECO/MCO).
