Job summary

Farm To Fork Sdn Bhd (Pop Meals) in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Preventive/Project Maintenance Technician to ensure the functionality and upkeep of all freezers, chillers, HVAC, water systems, and electrical balance across our outlets.

You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, document servicing history, and help develop SOPs while coordinating across multiple locations to minimize downtime and support a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, facilities management or related field.
• Pw4 certification is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance operations experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality or manufacturing.
• Experience working across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair equipment including freezers, chillers, ACs, water systems and electrical balancing.
• Maintain outlet infrastructure: electrical, plumbing, HVAC and basic structural integrity.
• Update servicing records, repair logs and downtime incidents; support SOPs and emergency response.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal SOPs.

Preventive/Project Maintenance Technician

Having grown to 90 outlets within just a few years, our ambition is to expand to over 300 outlets in the next 5 years.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Preventative/Project Maintenance Technician to ensure the functionality, servicing & upkeep of all freezers, chillers, air-conditioners, water supply/drainage, electricity balancing & facility infrastructure across our outlets. These preventative measures are to ensure minimal operational downtime at our outlets to enable the outlet operations team to deliver a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

• Maintaining, servicing, and repair of operational equipment including but not limited to:


• freezers, chillers, air-conditioners, water supply/drainage, electricity balancing


• Implement preventive maintenance measures diligently to reduce unexpected breakdowns.


• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards.

Facilities Maintenance

• Maintain outlet infrastructure including:


• Electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC (including air conditioning servicing), and basic structural integrity.


• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to legal safety regulations and internal SOPs.

Reporting & Documentation

• Update records of equipment servicing history, repair logs, costs, and downtime incidents.


• Contribute to the development of SOPs and emergency response protocols.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.


• Pw4 certification is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or manufacturing sectors.


• Proven experience in working across multiple locations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical/plumbing infrastructure.


• Excellent troubleshooting, planning and decision-making abilities.


• Effective communication skills.
