Job summary

Tec D Distribution (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced HPE Presales Consultant to join the Modern Data Center (MDC) team in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on HPE Compute, Storage, Hybrid Cloud, and Data Protection.

You will design infrastructure solutions, run technical workshops, support RFIs/RFPs, and enable partners, delivering compelling technical proposals and POCs. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for certification and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions architecture and hybrid cloud.
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to conduct customer workshops.

Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Consulting: Engage partners and customers to identify business and technical requirements; design HPE infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions; develop sizing, BOMs, architectures and proposals; support opportunity qualification and technical engagements.
• Technical Workshops & Demonstrations: Deliver customer presentations, workshops, and briefings; conduct POC and technical validations; assist partners in evaluating HPE solutions for infra modernization, private cloud, and AI initiatives.
• Proposal & Tender Support: Help RFIs/RFPs/tenders; develop compliance responses and solution recommendations; provide technical consultation for enterprise, government, and commercial opportunities.
• Partner Enablement: Conduct partner training and enablement; support certification readiness; collaborate with HPE and Tec D Distribution teams to drive partner growth.
