Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Premier Manager to lead a team of relationship managers, delivering bespoke banking and wealth solutions to high net worth clients. You will deepen client relationships, drive revenue, and ensure Shariah-compliant sales within a dynamic wealth management business.

The role requires guiding a Premier Sales team to achieve targets, while championing a customer-first culture and leveraging digital platforms for elevated client experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–9 years in a sales leadership role managing wealth sales.
• Proven track record of managing a large and complex relationship portfolio.
• Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Conversant in Shariah knowledge.
• Able to work across cross-functional structures and with partners.
• Certifications such as CFP, PCE - Life & General Insurance, Unit Trust, MTA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of relationship managers to deliver Premier services and drive client outcomes.
• Acquire new Premier and Premier Elite customers and grow relationships.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to expand assets under management (AUM).
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets aligned with wealth management strategy.
• Ensure risk controls and compliance, including Shariah adherence, are embedded in processes.
• Improve customer experience and retention through digital channels and service excellence.
