Job summary

CQM Technology in Penang seeks a Quality Control Inspector to inspect small precision components and ensure finished products meet quality and dimensional specifications. This hands-on role involves visually examining parts for defects and using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.

Responsibilities include inspecting for defects, applying drawings and specs, and identifying non-conforming items. Overtime and performance bonuses are available under Malaysian labor law.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with small parts and tight tolerances.
• Good eyesight and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive inspection work accurately and consistently.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect small manufactured finished components for defects, damage, contamination, chips, cracks, and/or other imperfections.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as digital calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment to verify that dimensions meet specified tolerances.
• Compare measurements according to instructions such as drawings, specifications, and/or inspection requirements.
• Handle small and delicate components carefully to prevent damage.
• Identify and separate non-conforming or defective products.
• Notify supervisors of defects or quality concerns.
