Matthews International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail‑driven Artwork Production Specialist to join our premedia team in Penang.

You will produce accurate finished print‑ready artwork in line with client briefs, supplied copy, and technical requirements, and perform quality checks on all client deliverables. This role demands exceptional accuracy, fast work pace, analytical thinking, and a strong ownership mindset to ensure high‑quality output across packaging and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in a Pre-press, Printing, Packaging and Advertising industry is preferred.
• Languages required: English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Produce artwork in accordance to client's and technical specifications.
• Perform quality check on artwork to ensure high quality and alignment with client and technical specifications.
• Develop accurate and high-quality artwork for basic to complex production assignments for final layout.
• Incorporate branding guidelines into artwork layout per client's specifications.
• Apply pre-press knowledge (colour separation, trapping, stepping, high‑resolution image replacement, barcode replacement).
• Maintain day-to-day quality inspection process.
• Ensure timely completion of artwork meeting SOPs and client brand standards.
• Log and update project status in tracking system to reflect plans and quality issues.
• Provide direction to other production colleagues as needed.
