Job summary

Cochlear Malaysia seeks a Goods Inwards Inspector to inspect fast-moving items and perform quality verifications per specifications. You will conduct visual inspections, use measuring tools, and ensure proper documentation and handling per QMS.

Strong collaboration with internal and external teams is required. Requirements include a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), 2–3 years in warehouse/logistics in manufacturing, and experience with measuring equipment and Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with measuring equipment (rulers, Vernier calipers, micrometers) is an added advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle.
• Experience with ESD controls and quality inspections/verification.
• Intermediate MS Excel & Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform goods inwards inspection and delivery acceptance per specifications.
• Conduct goods inwards inspections according to quality schedules; accept/reject as required.
• Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools to complete inspections.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments to report defects/shortages/excess issues.
• Ensure proper documentation, product identification, storage, and handling per QMS.
