Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Technician to support the Electropolishing (EP) and Passivation line, ensuring process quality, safety and equipment reliability.

You will operate EP equipment, monitor parameters, maintain chemical solutions, perform bath maintenance, and assist in process improvements while following 5S and EHS standards. Fresh graduates with strong technical interests are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electropolishing and chemical surface treatment processes.
• Ability to follow strict process parameters and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work with chemicals and operate related equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up parts for electropolishing according to instructions.
• Operate EP equipment such as tanks, rectifiers, and filtration systems.
• Monitor process parameters (voltage, current, temperature, chemical levels, time).
• Handle and replenish chemical solutions under supervision of engineer or chemist.
• Inspect cleanliness and surface quality after electropolishing or passivation.
• Assist in bath maintenance, filtration, and chemical top-up.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain clean EP area and comply with 5S and EHS standards.
• Support troubleshooting and process-improvement efforts.
• Label, store, and dispose of waste chemicals per policy.
