Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a concrete batching plant operator in Kuching, Malaysia. You will operate and control the batching plant, prepare concrete according to approved mix designs, monitor the weighing and mixing process, and record daily production.

You must have 1–2 years of batching experience, understand mix designs, and be willing to work overtime. This role requires safety awareness and good communication to coordinate with site teams and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a concrete batching plant.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Able to understand concrete mix designs and batching procedures.
• Able to operate batching plant control systems.
• Basic knowledge of concrete materials and production processes.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious and responsible at work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control the concrete batching plant.
• Prepare concrete per approved mix designs.
• Monitor weighing and mixing for accuracy.
• Check availability of cement, aggregates, water, admixtures.
• Monitor the batching plant, control panel, and equipment during operation.
• Record daily production and material usage.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer, Laboratory Technician, and Concrete Supervisor.
• Report equipment breakdowns or material shortages immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness around the batching plant.
• Carry out basic inspection and routine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
• Ensure concrete production meets quality specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager.
