Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Rollomatic GrindSmart and ShapeSmart CNC grinding machines to manufacture high-precision cutting tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, tool specifications and grinding programs.
• Perform mechanical setup of machines, tooling and workholding components.
• Prepare and dress grinding wheels according to production requirements.
• Monitor the grinding process and machine performance to ensure consistent production quality.
• Adjust machine parameters, tooling and settings as required during production.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machining and grinding issues.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of precision cutting tools.
• Verify tool dimensions and geometry against drawings and specifications.
• Apply machine corrections and offsets to maintain accuracy.
