Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Precision Assembler to prepare and assemble equipment, document procedures, and perform tests. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble during repairs, using modern tools at our facility to ensure high-quality products for customers.

You will work with basic equipment, follow established processes, and support equipment maintenance while complying with safety and environmental guidelines. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Background in the mechanical industry.
• 1-2 years in mechanical assembly; sand blasting a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, and work ethics.
• Basic data input of Word and Outlook.
• Able to work independently and overtime/weekends.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or SPM with 0-2 years experience (Mechatronic is a plus).

Precision Assembler

Your Roleand Impact

The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating basic equipment and carry out routine tasks.
• Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
• Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations andproviding assistance.
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing ofoneself and others.
• Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes andinternal codes of conduct.
• Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and physically fit to safely lift up to, 10kg.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
