Job summary

Flowtec Group is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to design and position AWS-based application solutions for enterprise customers. You will collaborate with sales, delivery, and AWS specialists to translate business needs into scalable cloud-native architectures.

You will lead technical discussions, craft costed proposals, and demonstrate how Java and frontend technologies fit modern architectures with DevSecOps practices and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment.
• Strong knowledge of Java development and modern frontend frameworks.
• Understanding of AWS compute, storage, and networking services.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Partner with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into solution concepts.

You'll join the Cloud and Application Services team, working closely with sales, delivery, and AWS specialists to design and position application transformation solutions for enterprise customers.

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect supports the design and positioning of application development solutions on AWS, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical solution approaches working directly with customers, sales, and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into solution concepts
• Design and present scalable, secure, and reliable application architectures on AWS, including proposals and cost models
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions
• Apply application development expertise (Java) with modern frontend technologies to shape solution design

What we're looking for

• Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment
• Strong knowledge of application development using Java (primary) or .NET (secondary), with exposure to modern frontend frameworks
• Understanding of AWS services (compute, storage, networking) and ability to design cloudnative solutions
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and container-based deployments
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
