MindGraph is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect focused on modernization to engage with customers, drive architecture discussions, and shape compelling proposals. You will lead technical workshops, craft solution strategies, and support RFP/RFI responses while collaborating with sales to win opportunities.

The role requires strong Java expertise, AWS cloud know-how, and hands-on experience with modern architectures such as microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless tech.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development background with modernization experience.
• Experience leading technical discovery workshops and architecture design sessions.
• Proven ability to support RFPs, RFIs, proposals and SOWs.
• Ability to develop solution strategies, effort estimations and costing.
• Experience collaborating with sales to qualify and win modernization opportunities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand modernization requirements and business objectives.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, solutioning discussions, and architecture design sessions.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and customer presentations.
• Develop solution strategies, effort estimations, and solution costing.

• Build trusted relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.

Experience In

• Application Development & Modernization
• Strong Java background (primary skill)
• .NET knowledge is advantageous
• AWS architecture and cloud modernization expertise
• Modern application architectures including:
• Microservices
• Kubernetes / Docker
• Serverless technologies
• API-led architectures
• DevSecOps
• CI/CD pipelines
• Ideal candidate profile:
• Started their career as a Developer, Technical Lead, Architect, or AWS Solution Architect and subsequently moved into a Pre-Sales, Consulting Architect, or Solutioning role.
• Proven experience leading:
• Customer workshops
• Solution presentations
• Technical discovery sessions
• POCs and demonstrations
