Job summary

JOHOR BAHRU INTEGRATED SDN BHD is seeking an Executive, Public Relations & Communication to support the company's PR, corporate communication, branding and content creation. The role involves preparing communication materials, coordinating events and maintaining a professional corporate image.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in a related field, 2–4 years of PR experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Communications, Marketing, Media, Corporate Communication, Multimedia, Business Administration or a related field
• Preferably 2–4 years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communication, marketing communication, media, branding or a similar role
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin-speaking ability will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design and multimedia tools
• Creative, organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital content creation
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Company's public relations and corporate communication activities
• Prepare press releases, corporate announcements, speeches, talking points and other communication materials
• Coordinate with external parties, media, vendors, agencies and business partners when required
• Support corporate events, launches, meetings, functions and other PR activities
• Monitor media coverage and maintain records of relevant publicity and communications
• Develop creative content for social media, website, presentations, newsletters and corporate materials
• Prepare posters, banners, digital artwork, videos, photography and other multimedia content
• Ensure all creative materials are consistent with the Company's corporate identity and branding guidelines
• Manage and update communication content across relevant digital platforms
• Provide administrative support for the Public Relations, Communication and Corporate Affairs functions
