Worldwide Holdings Berhad is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the power plant during assigned shifts. You will lead a team of operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in plant performance.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with CCGT power generation, turbine systems, and heat recovery steam generators.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in power plant operations, preferably in CCGT plants.
• Must have Steam Engineer Grade 2 Certificate of Competency recognised by DOSH Malaysia.
• Proven experience in shift operation management and start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Strong knowledge of steam and gas turbine systems, HRSG and BOP.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safe, efficient and reliable plant operation on assigned shifts.
• Monitor plant performance and correct operational abnormalities.
• Coordinate commissioning post outage and routine tests.
• Prepare shift logs and reports for relevant parties.
• Collaborate with safety, admin and engineering teams for plant reliability.
