Job summary

ThunderSoft in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Post Silicon Execution Engineer to validate post-silicon configurations and ensure system stability from firmware to the OS. You will execute regression tests and collaborate with stakeholders for effective triage and execution.

You will set up SUT hardware (CPU, DIMM, NIC), perform BIOS installations on Windows and Linux, troubleshoot failures, monitor lab health, and keep the inventory organized.

Qualifications

• Experience Level: Junior (Fresh Graduates or candidates with < 7 years of post-silicon validation and debug)
• Knowledge of PC architecture and familiarity with modern x86 microprocessor architecture is highly preferred
• Self-starting team player with excellent communication skills and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

About the Role

This technical, hands‑on engineering role involves validating the Post‑Silicon Best Known Configurations to ensure system recipe and stability from the system firmware up to the OS levels products. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders for execution and triage.
