Job summary

Century Water Systems & Technologies Pte Ltd in Penang seeks a Process Engineer (Post Contracts) to convert complex concepts into detailed designs, perform mass balances, hydraulic analyses, and optimize processes across projects.

You will review equipment specs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead technical discussions with clients and contractors, and support pre-commissioning, startup, and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment or environmental process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MBR, RO reclaim, IX reclaim, fluoride, neutralization, oxidation, and ozone treatment systems.
• Strong knowledge of process calculations, hydraulics, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Experience working in EPC or project execution environments.

Responsibilities

• Convert process concepts and preliminary engineering packages into detailed designs.
• Perform mass balance calculations, hydraulic analyses, equipment sizing, and process optimization.
• Review equipment specifications and vendor technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated project solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support pre-commissioning and startup activities.
• Troubleshoot process and operational issues during project execution.
• Prepare process testing plans, operating procedures, and validation documentation.
• Support project handover and operational readiness activities.
