Port of Tanjung Pelepas is seeking a dedicated Civil Technician to support the inspection, supervision, and coordination of civil infrastructure maintenance across the port. This role helps keep our facilities safe, reliable, and operationally efficient for day-to-day port activities.

You will supervise contractors, perform site inspections of roads, drainage, buildings and utilities, and prepare inspection reports and documentation.

Formación

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience in contractor supervision, site inspections, QA/QC, and project monitoring.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare technical reports.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in port, industrial, or heavy infrastructure environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise contractors carrying out maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and construction works.
• Conduct inspections of roads, drainage systems, buildings, pavements, utilities, and other civil infrastructure assets.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Monitor work progress, quality, safety, and HSSE compliance.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and site activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical recommendations to support operational excellence.
