Job summary

Comet Group is seeking an Intern (Project Management) at our Penang site. You will assist in PMO processes, governance activities, and coordination across cross-functional teams within Group Functions.

The role targets students in Business, Management, IT, Engineering or related fields, with a basic understanding of project management and strong organizational skills. Hybrid work options are available during the internship.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to organize information and prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, with an interest in project management, IT, digital transformation, or enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Group PMO processes, governance activities, and project management community initiatives.
• Assist project and program managers in maintaining project plans, schedules, action items, and project documentation.
• Track project progress, risks, issues, and key deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of project status reports, presentations, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain project records and repositories while coordinating meetings, documentation, and communication across cross-functional teams.
