Job summary

This full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role is based in Kuala Ketil and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining PLC programs for industrial automation systems. The PLC Programmer will configure, test, and troubleshoot control systems, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting electrical and control drawings, collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement automation solutions, and performing system commissioning and on-site support. The role also involves documenting programs and changes, maintaining technical records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for processes and machinery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, function block), configuration, and troubleshooting for industrial automation systems.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development, industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), and integration with sensors and actuators.
• Solid understanding of electrical and control systems, including reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform hands-on testing, commissioning, and maintenance of control panels and automated equipment in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to diagnose and resolve system issues under time constraints.
