Jora Malaysia is seeking an embedded software engineer to drive Linux-based development, drivers, and BSP work. You will engage with systems engineers and other teams to design, implement, and verify software for embedded platforms, including networking protocols and hardware interfaces.
The role requires strong C/C++ skills, Linux programming expertise, and hands-on experience with SDK porting and driver development.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field).
Technical Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced level of C and C++programming, analysis, and design;Python skills are a plus.
Experience with 50K lines of code (C/C++) or above.
Solid understanding of Operating Systems (memory, process/thread, scheduling, boot process, etc.).
Strong Linux programming skills (IPC, thread, socket, I/O, drivers, kernel modules, etc.).
Rich knowledge of IP protocols (VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SSH, NAT, IPv6, PPPoE, SNMP, etc.).
Experience with software engineering tools for version control and issue tracking (e.g., Git, Jira).
Hands‑on experience in embedded chipset SDK porting/customization, driver development, board bring‑up, low‑level BSP/hardware issue investigation, and factory manufacturing support.
Fast learner with strong quick‑learning and self‑study abilities.
Proactive, highly responsible, self‑motivated, and able to work autonomously.
Excellent team player with effective teamwork skills and dedication to team success.

Responsible for requirement analysis together with System engineer/Architecture, software high level/Detail design document and the implementation.
Cooperation with other teams to ensure the design integration and verification in professional way. Verify the functions and provide the efficient support to fix the issue during the test.
Develop software on Linux which may include middleware, drivers or application including management, data forwarding and protocols/interfaces.
Making sure SW delivery on time with high quality under project target
