Job summary

Parkson is seeking a software developer skilled in C/C++ to design, implement, and maintain software applications. The candidate will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and translate business needs into effective solutions.

The role requires 2–3 years of C/C++ experience, strong memory management, and familiarity with relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Proficiency in Linux/Unix or Windows environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in C/C++ programming application development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming, including memory management, system library functions, algorithms, and data structures.
• Knowledge of C/AL or C/SIDE will be an advantage.
• Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other databases.
• Experience with Linux/Unix or Windows platforms.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C/C++ programming languages.
• Enhance existing features to improve software performance and scalability.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including gathering user requirements and translating business needs into functional solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including bugs and system inquiries.
• Prepare and maintain proper documentation for changes, upgrades, and implementations according to established standards.
