Job summary

Lenovo in Malaysia is seeking a Cloud Native PaaS Platform Operations Engineer to monitor and operate Kubernetes clusters and container images. You will contribute to deployment and management of cloud-native apps, maintain the DevOps toolchain, automate scripts, and assist in platform security hardening.

Mandarin is a plus. Experience required includes 3+ years in IT operations with Kubernetes or Docker, Linux familiarity, and knowledge of Git, Jenkins/Argo, Helm, Ansible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT operations and maintenance experience.
• Familiar with Kubernetes clusters concepts and working principles.
• Understanding of common DevOps toolchains (Git, Jenkins/Argo, Docker, Helm, Ansible).
• Familiar with Linux system management and basic commands.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Programming foundation (Python, Shell).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operations and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters.
• Responsible for handling faults and problems.
• Participate in the building and management of container images and assist in the deployment and management of cloud-native applications on the platform.

• Possess a certain programming foundation (such as Python, Shell).
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus
