Job summary

Lenovo is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Malaysia to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, monitor production systems, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software releases.

You will develop automation scripts, implement IaC, and collaborate with development, security, and networking teams to enhance reliability, performance, and security of cloud-native services.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps/SRE, cloud operations, and hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible and observability tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, or IT Operations.
• Hands-on experience supporting production applications and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience with modern IaC and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and release management.
• Develop automation scripts to eliminate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day operational incidents, troubleshooting, and RCA.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization plans.
• Build and maintain observability solutions including logging, metrics, monitoring, and APM platforms.
• Maintain databases including performance tuning, backup/recovery, and fault resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, system reliability, and operational excellence.
• Support cloud-native infrastructure and AI/ML-related services.
• Administer Linux-based environments and web platforms with high availability and security.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Work with networking and security teams to maintain reliable and secure services.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
