Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced SBE Platform Engineer focused on Linux and middleware. You will ensure performance, security, and reliability across RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka while integrating with Oracle and MySQL databases.

You will install, configure, and maintain middleware components, tune performance, automate with Unix scripts and SQL, and work with cross-functional teams to keep systems resilient in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Linux system administration and middleware support.
• Hands-on experience with RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
• Strong Unix shell scripting, SQL scripting, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Understanding of database connectivity, security, and performance tuning.
• Ability to collaborate with production teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support system performance, security, and availability with Oracle and MySQL.
• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
• Support middleware deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security per best practices.
• Develop Unix scripts and SQL queries for automation.
• Troubleshoot Linux, middleware, and database connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration.
