Job summary

Coforge in Malaysia seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support banking and financial services applications.

You will implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, build CI/CD pipelines, enforce cloud security and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with security, risk, and operations teams to enable reliable migrations and cost governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and financial industry compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Build and manage cloud environments supporting banking/financial applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Monitor cloud environments, optimize performance, and ensure high availability.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Banking and Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS to support critical banking applications and financial platforms.

This role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, automation, cloud security, compliance, DevOps practices, and financial services environments where security, resilience, and regulatory compliance are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.


• Build and manage cloud environments supporting mission-critical banking and financial applications.


• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.


• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments.
