Job summary

Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Data Engineer – Platform & Analytics to join our regional edge data team. You will deliver end-to-end data solutions, including databases, data lakehouses, pipelines, data sharing, and reporting across Asia-Pacific.

You will partner with business stakeholders and regional data consumers to ensure reliable, scalable data products, with a strong focus on quality, governance, and operational excellence in a cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of data engineering, database development, or analytics engineering experience.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Support and optimize cloud data platforms, databases, and data lakehouses.
• Build scalable data integration across multiple source systems.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Manage data ingestion, transformation, and data delivery processes.
