Job summary

Asp Greentech invites a Plant Operations Lead to oversee the production plant and its equipment in Malaysia, working with the Plant Manager to ensure efficient operations. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, labor and production planning, stock control, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with Engineering for preventive maintenance, drive biomass process initiatives, and uphold safety and good maintenance practices across facilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Eng.
• Experience in process engineering and facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of Biomass operation and liaising with DOE/DOSH.
• Leadership and effective communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in plant startups and machine installation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the production plant, its machines and equipment in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
• Initiate and lead continuous improvement across process areas.
• Manage labor, manpower planning, production planning, stock, and maintenance planning.
• Develop and implement SOPs and policies to maximize output and compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering for preventive/autonomous maintenance and housekeeping.
