Job summary

TopPlant Laboratories Sdn Bhd is seeking a Plant Production Executive to lead daily nursery and greenhouse activities, including planting, plant care, and meticulous record-keeping. This role also oversees lab operations, inventory, analyses, and production planning, while supporting R&D through experiments.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in biotechnology or related fields, strong communication skills, and a proactive, independent work approach.

Qualifications

• BSc in Biotechnology, Plant Sciences, Agriculture or related field.
• Experience in a tissue culture lab, nursery or greenhouse is a plus (fresh grads welcome!).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset; able to work independently.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily nursery and greenhouse operations, including planting, plant care, and record-keeping.
• Coordinate and manage nursery staff, including task allocation and scheduling.
• Oversee lab operations including inventory management, daily activities, analyses, reports, and production planning.
• Conduct and document lab and nursery experiments to support R&D efforts.
• Visit customer fields to evaluate crop performance, assess field conditions, and identify pest/disease issues.
• Compile detailed reports with observations, data analysis, and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with procurement of lab and field supplies including chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Work with management to implement improved practices for productivity and quality.
• Serve as OSH Coordinator, promoting a safe, compliant workplace.

• When required, visit customer fields to evaluate crop performance, assess field conditions, and identify pest/disease issues.

• Collaborate closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
