Job summary

ACGT Sdn Bhd is seeking a focused microbiology graduate to manage and operate a fungal laboratory, handling propagation, maintenance, and scale‑up of isolates for production purposes in Sabah.

You will ensure proper data filing, assist in project administration, SOP establishment, and lab equipment upkeep to support smooth research operations. The role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Sound knowledge of microbiological laboratory techniques and GLP practices.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate a fungal laboratory for propagation, maintenance, and scale‑up of isolates for production purposes.
• Ensure proper filing and storage of data (hardcopy and softcopy).
• Assist in administration and operations for projects, including asset auditing, SOP establishment, equipment maintenance and reporting.
• Assist in the operation of a microbiology laboratory.
