Job summary

Omya Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable production operator/assistant to support GCC plant operations. You will assist the production supervisor, monitor and control manufacturing processes, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires 2 years of industrial experience, basic chemistry knowledge, and the ability to work shifts, including weekends. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for documenting logs and coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in a chemical or related field.
• Experience in a maintenance role for a manufacturing operation.
• Basic chemistry knowledge preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist production supervisor for GCC plant operations.
• Operate, monitor, control, and conduct site routine inspections for manufacturing processes.
• Ensure plant operations meet safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Carry out daily equipment inspections and maintenance support.
• Maintain production/plant operation log sheets and records.
