Job summary

Fraser & Neave (F&N) in Malaysia seeks a hands-on supervisor to manage factory supervisors and maintenance staff, ensuring daily quality outputs within standard working hours in a safe GMP environment. You will oversee production line performance, machine upkeep, utilities, and preventive maintenance to maximise output and line utilization.

The role requires organising external certifications (Halal, FSSC, ISO 14000, HACCP, GMP, Mesti) and acting as SME for UHT processing, filling and packaging.

Qualifications

• Establish and maintain Food Safety Management System per applicable standards.
• Organise and coordinate work programs for external certifications (Halal, FSSC, ISO 14000, HACCP, GMP, Mesti).
• Liaise with external authorities on statutory and licensing requirements.
• Act as internal auditor for external certifications and report findings to management.
• Serve as SME in production of UHT products (processing, filling, packaging).

Responsibilities

• To manage, supervise and lead Factory supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for achieving the daily targeted quality outputs within the specific working hours, under a safe & GMP working condition.
• To manage machine upkeep and maintenance including utilities requirement.
• Responsible for producing quality products by machine maintenance.
• Responsible for the performance of production lines e.g. yields, rejects, efficiencies, EPL, OPL etc
• Responsible for the targeted outputs and line utilization
• Effective supervision of production line for maximum outputs
• Responsible for the GMP and good housekeeping after PM or any projects
• Responsible for Inventory controls on engineering spares and maintain & update data in SAP system
• Responsible for proper discipline of all staff under his/her charge
• To provide engineering services / supports on technical problems, machine breakdowns and any others technical problems encountered by the operating unit
• To supervise, inspect and ensure proper reporting and feedback of maintenance works
• To manage production equipment breakdown, repair jobs and implement preventive maintenance schedules to eliminate recurring problems
• About you: Ensure that the Food Safety Management System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the standards and regulations
• To organize and coordinate the work program for all the external certifications i.e Halal, FSSC, ISO 14000, HACCP, GMP and Mesti
• Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Statutory and Licensing requirement i.e DOSH, DOE, Bomba, Local authorities (Majlis Bandaran), MOH Pharmacy, KPDNKK and etc.
• To act as internal auditors for all the external certification and update the findings with management team
• To act as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in production of UHT Products including Processing, Filling and Packaging
