Job summary

PPG Industries in Petaling Jaya seeks a Plant Manager to provide strategic and operational direction for all plant activities. You will oversee production, safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, while leading continuous improvement projects and Lean/Six Sigma programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading industrial operations and driving cultural change.
• Proven change management in manufacturing projects and culture shifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills to overcome barriers and resistance to change.
• Experience managing unionized workforce and industrial relations.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe and compliant plant in Petaling Jaya meeting local laws and PPG EHSMS.
• Oversee quality control to meet automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
• Drive production to meet targets and monitor continuous improvement.
• Lead and coach development of plant staff and foster performance culture.
• Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction through quality.
