Job summary

Multinational Manufacturing Company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Plant Finance Controller fluent in Vietnamese to partner with Supply Chain and Operations. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support decision-making and productivity across manufacturing and procurement.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, and month-end close related to supply chain finance, while building strong relationships with regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, CA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Operations Finance, Plant Finance, Cost Accounting, or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge: cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Experience partnering with operations, manufacturing, or supply chain stakeholders.
• SAP or other major ERP system experience preferred.
• Vietnamese language capability is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis for supply chain and manufacturing.
• Analyze production costs, inventory movements, logistics spend, and KPIs.
• Support inventory accounting, stock valuation, provisions, and inventory control.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement through financial analysis.
• Monitor standard costing, variances, and cost performance vs budgets.
• Assist month-end close relating to inventory and supply chain finance.
• Evaluate business cases, capex projects, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and financial insights for regional/local leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and governance.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
