Job summary

Wipro Unza Malaysia is seeking a Planning Manager in Kajang to steer material planning, purchasing and production forecasting. You will link sales targets to operations, optimize inventory, and ensure timely local/export supply while protecting working capital.

You will lead a cross-functional team, drive SAP-based MPS adherence, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliant, continuous process improvements for stronger profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of proven Planning and Supply Chain planning operations experience.
• Proactive problem solver with ability to anticipate bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling & Master Planning: Own and update the monthly Master Planning Schedule (MPS) in SAP, ensuring forecast uploads, accurate planned order creation, and aligned pull lists based on Marketing and Export forecasts.
• Order Fulfillment & Supply Continuity: Guarantee timely and sufficient supply of finished goods for local and export markets to maximize order fulfillment rates and achieve target Customer Service Levels (ISO standards).
• Inventory & Stock Optimization: Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance supply security with working capital targets, actively working with Sales & Marketing to minimize slow-moving inventory and prevent order cancellations.
• Cross-Functional Operations: Drive end-to-end alignment across Production, Marketing, NPD, and Sales to handle new product introductions, line deletions, and schedule updates seamlessly.
• Process Optimization & Compliance: Continuously monitor production schedules, track unfulfilled stock metrics, prepare executive performance reports, and ensure all operational processes adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
• Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, coach, and support direct and indirect team members to ensure smooth operational workflow and high output quality.
