Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Planning Lead to maximize resource use and ensure adherence to production specifications and schedules. You will steer complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and plan material purchases for ongoing production.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning, with a track record of leading staff development and delivering efficient schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in production planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage production planning activities to maximize resource use and meet specifications and schedules.
• Lead the most complex, large, or difficult production projects to produce schedules and plans and estimate resources.
• Liaise with functional managers to integrate activities into production plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop production planning staff to meet targets.
• Oversee material purchases (raw/packaging) for running production.
• Plan the Production Schedule according to the planning guideline.
• Monitor stocks of raw materials and packaging material and control to their minimum level.

• Manage production planning activities to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.
• Lead the most complex, large, or difficult production projects to produce schedules and plans and estimate the human resources, tools, equipment needed to manufacture products.
• Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in production, supply and logistics, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, or human resources) to integrate their activities into productions plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop production planning staff to ensure that their activities meet pre-established targets.
• To be responsible on the material (Raw / Packaging) purchase for the running production.
• To plan the Production Schedule according to the planning guideline.
• Monitor stocks of raw materials and packaging material and control to their minimum level.
