Job summary

A leading global manufacturer of high-end components is seeking a Demand Planner to join their S&OP Team in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in demand and material planning, a degree in a relevant field, and strong Excel skills. Responsibilities include balancing customer demand with capacity, managing material plans, and ensuring accurate SAP entries. Qualifications

• More than 3 years experience in demand planning or material planning.
• Familiar with ERP/MES systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer demand is met by balancing capacity and material availability.
• Guarantee sufficient quantity and lead time to meet Manufacturing Order demand.
• Maintain a balanced daily loading input to optimize production flow and minimize bottlenecks.
• Monitor and manage the 13 weeks material impact loading plan to prevent shortages.
• Review 13 weeks forecast and propose adjustments based on material availability.
• Evaluate core performance metrics and identify gaps in material requirements.
• Monitor lead time for each process and drive resolution to remove constraints.
• Ensure accurate SAP entries for process flow and material changes.

Demand Planner

Your Responsibilities

• Meeting Customer Demand: Ensure customer demand is met by effectively balancing capacity and material availability.
• Quantity and Lead Time Management: Guarantee sufficient quantity and lead time to meet Manufacturing Order (MO) demand.
• Balanced Daily Loading Input: Maintain a balanced daily loading input to optimize production flow and minimize bottlenecks.
• Material Impact Loading Plan: Monitor and manage the 13 weeks material impact loading plan to align with production requirements and prevent shortages.
• Forecast Review and Proposal: Review 13 weeks forecast and propose adjustments to MO based on material availability and capacity constraints.
• Performance and Gap Analysis: Evaluate core performance metrics and identify gaps between MO requirements and core supplement, assessing risks of future material shortages.
• Meeting production lead time by closely monitoring the lead time of each process step, identify long waiting time process step and driving for resolution to remove constraints.
• As a key SAP user in ensuring accurate SAP entries for process flow and material changes, purchase requisition, and other business-related activities in SAP system.

Your Profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• More than 3 years experience in demand planning or material planning.
• Familiar with ERP/MES systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
