Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in material and production planning

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and coordinate new orders
• Schedule and oversee material delivery and production
• Release work orders to logistics and production
• Collaborate with buyers to ensure material availability
• Monitor aging finished goods status and delivery targets
• Ensure on-time production with minimum delays
• Resolve cross-department issues with escalation when needed
• Take on additional duties as assigned

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and coordinate when new order received.
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Plan & schedule each work order according to customer’s demand and commit best delivery date to customer service team.
• Plans and release the WO to logistics team for material kitting.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Review and determine material status & shortages before releasing work order and upcoming orders that need to be expedite. (As per the defined daily release schedule)
• Work closely with buyer to ensure material are readily available to support production plan through MRP execution, on time delivery and coordination of material movement through receiving to production.
• To monitor and trigger customer service team on aging finished goods status
• Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Monitor work order to ensure production aligned with completion target date.
• Collaborate with inter-department person in-charge to resolve issues and handle advance level of problem solving
• To take up an additional duty assigned from time to time by the superior or management

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in material and production planning
• Must possess at least Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Proven experience as production planning, supply chain management, or a related field within the semiconductor industry
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is often preferred
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using advanced planning tools and systems to optimize production schedules and resource allocation
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Have high work ethics and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and complete all required tasks on time.
