Job summary

Bake With Yen is a Malaysian baking ingredients company providing quality products at competitive prices. The role involves monitoring budget, inventory and production schedules, ensuring BOM validation, and coordinating with production, warehouse and purchasing teams to maintain smooth operations for 89 retail stores nationwide.

The position emphasizes data analysis, reporting to management, and proactive problem-solving to keep production on track and meet demand across outlets.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with multiple departments to mitigate OOS issue
• Monitor production progress and communicate production status on regular basis
• Handle BOM validation and setup as per business flow requirement
• Ensure the requirement from outlets/DFS are met accordingly
• Work closely with production/warehouse department in seeking efficient methods and ways to increase production output/results and conduct required data analysis if necessary
• Work closely with warehouse and purchasing team to ensure raw materials are sufficient for smooth production run
• Coordinate with production on capacity planning, review raw materials status and work closely with purchasing on raw materials replenishment activity
• Generate ad hoc analysis/report as required by management from time to time
• Escalate complex issues to management and provide resolution
• Perform other additional tasks as and when may be assigned

Monitors a department or project's budget, inventory, and production schedule. Maintains optimally efficient inventory of production materials. Creates planning studies and generates reports about new programs, plans, and regulations. Reviews development proposals to ensure compliance with codes and regulations. Manages all general planning issues for a department or project.
