Job summary

Pecko (M) Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production activities, scheduling, and liaise across departments to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.

You will liaise with sales to determine requirements, predict task durations, develop schedules, and monitor flowsheets for new or revised orders. This role requires data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales division to determine customer requirements
• Predict how long a project will take to complete
• Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed
• Follow up on flowsheets created by clerical staff based on drawings for new or revised models and for new orders
• Liaise with logistic team on delivery to customer
• Assist in production planning and problem solving that may occur during production, including manpower shortage, machine malfunctions and capacity issues
• Collect and assess data on production capacity and performance
• Liaise with customer on delivery commitment and reschedule
