Job summary

Miri Steel Structure & Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a welding inspector to oversee on-site welding quality at our project site in Miri, Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipe joint fit-up, welding activities, and completed welds to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Verify welder qualifications, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and related welding documentation.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), weld defect rectification, and quality issue follow-up.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit welding inspection records, weld inspection reports, and related quality documentation.
• Coordinate with the project management team, construction personnel, and client inspection representatives on site welding inspections.
