Job summary

GY Physio & Stroke Rehab in Kedah, Kulim invites a passionate Physiotherapist to join our growing team. You will assess patients, design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans focusing on stroke, neurological, and orthopaedic conditions, and guide patients toward mobility and independence.

You will work closely with doctors and caregivers, documenting progress and adjusting therapies as needed. Fresh graduates are welcome; ongoing clinical development and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the relevant Malaysian professional/regulatory body where applicable.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in stroke, neurological, geriatric, orthopaedic, or rehabilitation physiotherapy is an advantage.
• Good clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and identify patients' functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
• Provide hands-on physiotherapy, therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional rehabilitation.
• Manage patients with stroke and neurological conditions, as well as orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans according to their needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility, positioning, and safe functional activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and treatment records.
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care, professionalism, and clinical practice.
• Participate in clinic activities, case discussions, and continuous professional development.
