Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Physiotherapist to assess patients' physical conditions, movement, strength, and functional limitations, and to develop individualized treatment plans.

You will deliver therapies such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, and strengthening, monitor progress, educate patients, and maintain accurate treatment records while collaborating with doctors and nurses.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
• Registered with the relevant professional authority, where applicable.
• Valid practising certificate/licence, where applicable.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant working experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions, movement, strength, flexibility, and functional limitations.
• Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop appropriate individual treatment plans.
• Provide physiotherapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, strengthening exercises, and other appropriate modalities.
• Manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, post-operative conditions, back and neck pain, joint problems, and other physical impairments.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans according to their response and clinical condition.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper exercises, posture, body mechanics, home exercises, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records and documentation.
• Ensure all physiotherapy equipment is properly used, maintained, and kept in good working condition.
• Communicate and collaborate with doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals regarding patients' care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with the clinic's policies on personal data protection.
