Job summary

Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur (A branch of Pantai Medical Centre Sdn Bhd) seeks a dedicated physiotherapist to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will conduct assessments and tailor treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients to support recovery and rehabilitation goals.

The role requires strong communication, a patient-centred approach, and willingness to work on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in hospital setting is an added advantage.

Job description

To provide professional physiotherapy care and rehabilitation services to patients, while establishing good rapport and delivering an excellent patient experience throughout the course of treatment.

Responsibilities

Conduct physiotherapy assessment and treatment sessions for inpatients and outpatients.

Provide professional and effective physiotherapy services to support patients' recovery and rehabilitation goals.

Monitor patients' progress and provide education, counselling and follow-up treatment recommendations.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records, progress notes and reports.

Liaise closely with consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

Participate in on-call and after-hours services when assigned.

Supervise and guide Physiotherapy Assistants where required.

Ensure physiotherapy equipment is maintained and used in accordance with safety standards.

Participate in departmental training, quality improvement initiatives and hospital quality indicators.

Requirements

Degree in Physiotherapy.

Registration with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) will be an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to perform on-call duties when required.

Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Relevant working experience in a hospital setting will be an added advantage.
