Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsabilidades

Plan and deliver engaging, enquiry-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity and international-mindedness.

Maintain appropriate lesson resources and learning environments.

Participate in collaborative planning and moderation.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Use a range of effective teaching strategies, including integrating technology and emerging digital tools, including AI where appropriate, to enhance teaching and learning.

Monitor, assess, and evaluate student progress to support continuous improvement

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Establish clear expectations for behaviour, routines, and academic standards.

Promote student engagement, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

3. Student Support and Development

Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Implement appropriate support strategies for students with SEND, EAL and varying learning needs.

Contribute to student support plans, interventions and review meetings as required.

Foster values of respect, responsibility, and international-mindedness.

4. Assessment and Reporting

Use assessment data to inform teaching and set appropriate targets for students.
Analyse student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievement and wellbeing.

Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.

Contribute to written reports, grading, and parent communication as required.

5. Collaboration and Professional Practice

Work collaboratively with colleagues and academic teams.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.

Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement efforts.

Participate in school events, trips, clubs, assemblies and extracurricular activities.

Undertake supervisory duties as directed.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.

Participate in the school's appraisal and performance management processes.

6. Safeguarding

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at all times.

Comply with safeguarding policies and all school procedures.

Report safeguarding concerns promptly in accordance with school policy.

Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students.

7. Professional Conduct

Uphold professional standards and act as a role model in line with school values.

Engage in professional learning and reflect on practice to improve teaching effectiveness.

Maintain confidentiality regarding students, families and school matters.

Adhere to all school policies and procedures.

8. Communication and Partnership

Develop positive relationships with parents and the wider school community.

Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and colleagues.

Use Google Classroom as a primary communication platform by keeping it regularly updated with weekly learning information, homework, notices, and details of upcoming events and activities.

Attend parent meetings and school events as required.

Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.
