Job summary

Exact in Ipoh is seeking an experienced software engineer to take full ownership of the quality, performance, and reliability of code and deliverables. You will design, develop, and test scalable applications within a SCRUM team using a modern stack (PHP, Symfony, React, Vue, TypeScript, Azure, AWS).

Based in Ipoh, you will mentor peers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help the team grow. The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT and at least 3 years of hands-on PHP development, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on PHP development experience.
• Strong experience in PHP (Symfony), React, Vue, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of design principles (SOLID) and design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit).
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
